How to Add an Item

To create new items from the main admin menu, go to Sales > Items and click the "New Item" button in the top left corner.

  • Description: Enter a brief description for the item.
  • Long Description: Provide a detailed description of the item.
  • Rate: Specify the total cost of the item, excluding taxes.

  • Tax: Choose the predefined tax for the item, which will be automatically applied when generating invoices, estimates, proposals, or credit notes.
  • Unit: Enter the unit of measurement for the item, such as lots or kg.
  • Item Group: If you have multiple items and want to organize them into groups, select a group you previously created by clicking the "Group" button in the top left.

Click "Save" to store all the item information.
